Exclusive Interview with Ada Pierce 10/31/2021

1. What do you think about being Super star of the week?

Ada Pierce: I'm blown away. Words can't describe my joy and gratitude toward every single person who voted for me. While I fail to find the appropriate words to describe my appreciation and honour to be the Superstar of the Week, I promise I'll make sure to live up to everyone's expectations and leave everything in the ring every single time.

2 Where do you see your time in IIW taking you?

Ada Pierce: The sky's the limit. I haven't even been here for half a year and my life has already drastically changed. All I know is that I continue to grow, improve and discover who I truly am. I see my time taking me to the top, however long it takes me to get there. And I'll do my best to bring others up to my level.

3 You are considered one of the best new comers in the fed. What are you going to do to maintain the momentum and keep you on this push?

Ada Pierce: I'm honoured to hear you say that. Everything I've done and everything I've accomplished here has been a result of the years and years Sensei Burke has spent to turn me into his prized student. Every time I go out there, I'm representing not only myself, but my dojo, my best friend and my sensei. Principles are key. Honour is key. I'll continue to test myself and every single woman in the locker room.

4. Do you have a routine to keep you focused on task?

Ada Pierce: Now that's a tough one! My routine has been... changing, to say the least. I guess my training and meditation are the things that keep me focused. Win or lose, I always go back to the drawing board. I always try to find my weaknesses and strengths and adapt. So it's a combination of kata to keep stay in physical shape, mediation to heal my mind and homework to adapt to my opponents.

5. What would your ultimate match or opponent be in the fed?
Ada Pierce: When I arrived here, I looked at Moira Arches as the woman I would eventually go on to face and potentially go on to hand her her first loss to become the champion. But we all know what happened recently. Moira would be one I'd love to test myself against. Solace is another who I have a great deal of respect for as she doesn't resort to the kind of tactics women like Mercedes do. But Mercedes is the obvious choice for me. She willingly became my first enemy when she and Casie went after me and almost ended my career. And much like I shut Jamie Riott up when she tried to end me, I'd love to get my hands on MJ and do the same damn thing to her.

6. If you were in charge of booking and you had a choice to book a match whos fighting who?
Ada Pierce: I'm a little biased here but I'll say Denise DiMarco and Jamie Riott. Both women pushed me to my absolute limit and I'd love to see them go at it. Their styles are vastly different, making me curious to know if Denise could adapt to Jamie the way I did. My prediction? She absolutely can.

7. What do you want to do while we are on our break? Do you intend on returning? Some leave but I think you are too good to bail honestly.
Ada Pierce: Thank you for saying that! Without going into... too much detail and spoiling it, I'll just say I won't be going anywhere. Some of the women may take a break, but not me. Expect to see me in a big way during the break.

8. What was your intention/hope for the future by interfering in the Mercedes match at Malevolence?
Ada Pierce: Several reasons. It was clear that when Mercedes ordered Casie to take me out, she didn't care about me. Probably didn't even know my name. But I was going to make her know my name. I wanted her to know that she picked a fight with the wrong person. I almost had a chance to shut her up before Malevolence, but Jamie Riott ensured that wouldn't happen. So I had to take of her first. When I was done with her and I was recovering in the medical room, I couldn't just sit idly by when I watched a masked assailant help Mercedes screw Solace out of the win like they almost screwed me out of my career. I had to do something. And this goes to any and all of the other women who think they can pull this crap in First Class. Because if they do, they're gonna answer to me.

9. If asked would you join up in fighting MJ with Solace and the Triumvirate?
Ada Pierce: After being ambushed several times, I'd be lying if I said I didn't have trust issues. But I guess... I guess I would. Solace made it clear that she had my back after I had hers at Malevolence. It would be good to have some friends on my side.

10 Finally, anything else you want to say to the IIW universe and/or the ladies in the back ?
Ada Pierce: All I can say is thank you to our fans. I never expected to get this far this quick, but to everyone who's supported and believed in me, thank you. I won't let you down. And to the other women... after almost losing my career, something I've grown to need in my life, I refuse to let anyone suffer the fate I did. So no matter what happens, no matter how banged up I am, I'll always give it my all. I'll always stop the women who think they're untouchable, who view themselves as better than the others. No matter what, I'll forever give it my all. And I invite any and all challengers to try and stop me.
